Jodi Holmes is based in both the Cayman Islands and the United States. Working primarily with oil paint and collage, she explores contemporary issues in landscape painting and collage through layered compositions that merge structured quilt patterns with imagery sourced from a collection of vintage travel books. Her work is driven by a fascination with memory, nostalgia, and the way places are remembered and reimagined over time. Holmes has exhibited her work across the United States, as well as in Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
